About Codenix:

Codenix is a small Game, Audio and Media development studio located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We focus our development in the creation of current state of the art games and multimedia technologies.

Codenix Philosophy:

We believe that most of the game development technology available for licensing is either too expensive or focuses on certain pre-boxed game models, wich result in ultimately similar products.
Our goal is to produce a framework that can be used to develop the most common game genres, and also provide an easy way to develop new and revolutionary ideas (both technologically and game design related).
While our engine is aimed to include features seen in most state-of-the-art games, its main advantage will be its flexibility in the programming model. This flexibility will be obtained by providing simple, consistent, straightforward and well documented APIs as well as a rich integrated framework for developing tools, scripts and graphical user interfaces.
Our main focus is to provide easy ways of extending and modifying any of the components, so new and custom features can be added or removed effortlessly.
Our framework is 100% abstracted and portable (even the tools) and can be used to develop PC (Windows/Linux), MAC (OSX) and console (GC/PS2/XBOX) games. By remaining backend-independent, we ensure that projects developed with our tools can be made available to new and emerging platforms with minimum effort.
